District of Clearwater’s vision for parks:
District of Clearwater envisions maintaining and developing a range of parks that address the cultural, natural and social needs of the residents and visitors to Clearwater.

Mission Statement:
To provide community parks capable of addressing a range  of passive to active recreational activities to meet the various needs of each neighbourhood and area park and to maintain a safe quality park system.

Recreation

The District of Clearwater maintains a number of recreational facilities including the North Thompson Sportsplex and Capostinsky Park (Community Baseball Diamonds).
