2022-12-15 — Due to an Artic flow entering the province, there is a high chance B.C. residents will experience an extended period of cold weather starting this weekend, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. This Artic flow will lead to chilling temperatures well below what residents have experienced in the last couple of weeks. High winds make the chill feel worse and increase the risk of frostbite and hypothermia. Take this time to check on those more vulnerable in these cold temperatures.
