The District of Clearwater advises the public due to completion of connections and tie-ins to the new waterline residents will be under Boil Water Notice for the time period from October 13 to October 16, 2020. This notice affects all users, however, people with weakened or undeveloped immune systems are most at risk. This includes elderly people, pregnant women and their unborn children under the age of 2, people with AIDS, cancer, diabetes or kidney disease and people being treated with immuno-suppressing medications.
As a precautionary measure, water users are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, food preparation, etc.
Affected Areas
Dutch Lake Water System, and Residents West of Clearwater River, including Camp 2 Road, Musgrave Road, Trans Mountain Camp and Sunshine Valley.
Duration of this Notice
This Boil Water Notice is effective October 13th, to October 16th, 2020.
