July 3, 2020: MOTI advises that the Clearwater Valley Road (the “Park Road”) is now open to the public, with single alternating traffic in places, guided by flag staff and signage.
July 3- Update from MOTI: Argo’s crew is currently setting up traffic control stations at the Grouse Creek and Fage Creek washout sites. We anticipate the road will be opened to all traffic by noon today. There will be single lane alternating traffic until the repairs are completed. No ETA for completion of repairs at this time but Argo is hoping to start on the weekend.
July 2- Update on Clearwater Valley (Park road) from MOTI Representative:
Water levels have receded and the north bound lane on Clearwater Valley Road between Fage Creek and Grouse Creek has been undermined in several places. The road will remain closed to non-local traffic for the evening. It is likely that MOTI will open the road to single lane alternating traffic tomorrow – please check tomorrow before heading out.
July 2, 2020- The Clearwater Valley Road is closed the NON-LOCAL traffic at the Road 80 junction (just past Spahats Fall turn off). Ministry of Transportation will continue to monitor and assess the weather and water situation throughout the day and night – and provide updates as changes transpire.
