In response to a request of the residents of Lakeview Road, Council approved a reduction to the speed limit on Lakeview Road from 50km/hr to 30km/hr. The speed limit reduction is intended to slow down vehicle traffic and create a safer right of way for pedestrians, cyclists, users of the boat launch and residents living on this road.
This speed limit change will take effect on Friday, September 16, 2019.
