- Council chose to support the recommendation of the Wells Gray Community Forest Commission to grant the Wells Gray Outdoor Club funding of $96,000 to complete Phase 2 and 3 construction of up to 5km of mountain bike trails located at the Candle Creek Trail network.
- Council resolved to renew the Memorandum of Understanding between the Wells Gray Community Forest Corporation, Wells Gray Community Forest Society and the District of Clearwater for a further three (3) year term (August 2021 to August 2024).
- Council amended the 2021 Five Year Financial Plan to include an allocation of up to $20,000 for repairs and maintenance to the District’s backhoe, the funds will be expended from the 2021 Unrestricted surplus.
- Council issued a “Notice of Intent” to consider approval of a Development Variance Permit, Permit No. DVP-21-01 for 345 Helmcken Street (Lot 65, District Lot 73, KDYD, Plan 22173).
The next Regular Council meeting is scheduled to be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. but is not open to the Public in accordance with the Public Health Order issued on December 2, 2020 for Gatherings and Events.
