The video of the Regular Council Meeting on May 19, 2020 is now available online. Council received a Community Wildfire Protection Plan Update from the Forsite consultant that started working on this project in September of 2019. You may have visited the Open House presentation which was also recorded and posted to Facebook or you may have participated in the Public FireSmart engagement survey in January. The plan includes key analysis results and recommendations and is an interesting read for home owners and residents of this area. As a homeowner, if you are interested in firesmarting your property, make sure to check out FireSmart BC’s resources online.
