The Remembrance Day Ceremony took place this morning in Clearwater organized by our local Legion. The District of Clearwater lend a hand and provided technical support by live streaming the Ceremony to residents at home as this year again, the event was not open to the public. This decision was made by the local Legion in order to protect the vulnerable, our Legion members and Veterans, from Covid. Council and Mayor respected this decision and watched from home as well. This does not take away from the fact that we honour our veterans for their service and sacrifice to provide a better future to our country.
