The District will complete tree removal at Dutch Lake beach, weather permitting, prior to the opening of the beach this spring. The tree removal will take place on the west side of the beach (by the Jasper Way Motel).
There are several cottonwood trees that were assessed by a Certified Danger Tree Assessor/ Faller and will require removal. The tree removal is scheduled to be started April 23 and completed by May 7, 2020.
The public is asked to stay clear off the closed off area during this work. Once the trees are removed, this area will be remediated with turf and deciduous shade trees.
