I Want To

Watch out for pedestrians

Current restrictions put in place by BC’s Provincial Health Officer allow for physical activities while maintaining physical distance or to keep active with the people in your bubble (that live in the same household as you). As a result of this we are seeing a lot of residents take advantage of the nice weather by being outdoors, walking, jogging, biking, walking their dog or pushing a stroller.

To all motorists out there, please watch for pedestrians, especially the unpredictable ones – our children and pets. Be mindful of coming to a complete stop at STOP signs, shoulder check before turning, follow the speed limit and give pedestrians the right of way where safely possible. Let’s continue to hold the line, while being safe and active. Thank you!
