The District of Clearwater is now accepting applications for Permissive Tax Exemptions for the 2026 taxation year.
Non-profit organizations that provide services benefiting the community, such as charitable, philanthropic, or other not-for-profit initiatives, may be eligible for exemption from property taxes under Section 224 of the Community Charter.

Deadline:
All applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to be considered. Late applications cannot be accepted.
Applicants may be requested to appear before Council to present or clarify their application.
