The District of Clearwater has received full provincial funding to install advanced water meters on all remaining water connections. This major infrastructure investment—delivered at no cost to residents—will help the community reduce water loss, detect leaks early, and build a more sustainable water system. Importantly, there will be no immediate shift to metered billing. A phased approach focused on education and transparency will begin after installation.
