NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER A CANNABIS RETAIL LICENCE APPLICATION
When? Tuesday, MARCH 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM The Council of the District of Clearwater gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing in Council Chambers at 209 Dutch Lake Road, Clearwater, BC, to consider proposed Cannabis Retail License Application No. CL-25-01.
What is the purpose of this Notice of Intent for Cannabis Retail Licence Application No. CL-25-01? The purpose of this Notice is to advise t he public of a proposed non-medical retail cannabis licence in Unit C at 343 Clearwater Valley Road as shown outlined on the map.

Name of proposed establishment: BB Cannabis
Applicant: Sandeep Mahal
Location: Unit C – 343 Clearwater Valley Road (PID: 017-747-686; Legal Description: Lot A, District Lot 73, KDYD, Plan KAP47003)
Purpose of the Public Hearing: For Council to obtain public input regarding the proposed non-medical cannabis retail use. Submissions may be either submitted in writing prior to the Public Hearing or presented at the Public Hearing.
Proposed Business hours of operation: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday – Sunday, 7 days/week.
All persons who believe their interest in property may be affected by the proposed application shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing. Additionally, they may make written submissions on the matter (via the options below) which must be received at our office prior to 4:30 p.m. on the 30th day of March, 2026. Please note that all correspondence submitted to the District Council in response to this Notice must include your name and address and will form part of the public record.
