2022-12-6 — The District of Clearwater is very pleased to announce the appointment of Tyne Maclennan as a Recreation Facility Attendant supporting the North Thompson Sportsplex.
Tyne was born and raised in Clearwater and is currently enrolled in Grade 12 at Clearwater Secondary School, graduating in June 2023. This year, he completed the TRU welding program. His work history includes guiding hunting parties in Alberta as well as landscaping and working at the family farm. His future plans include acquiring a pilot’s license.
Adding Tyne to the arena team helps us take another step towards developing a roster of trained staff to help operate and keep the Arena functioning throughout the season.
