The deadline for 2026 Community Grant requests is December 1, 2025. Only submissions received by the deadline will be included in 2026 budget deliberations.
The Community Grant Policy requires community grant applicants to submit their application for a community grant by December 1 of the year prior to the year the grant is needed. This will give Council opportunity to review applications during the budget process and if more information is required, Council may also request the applicant’s attendance to a Council meeting.
The policy separates community grant requests into three separate categories: Community grants, Large Community Grants, In-Kind Grants.
Grant claims submitted after the deadline shall not qualify for review until the following year, exceptions are subject to funding restrictions.
The District will send reminder notices to those organizations that were recipients of the grant in aid in 2023 and 2024. The policy and application form are posted below.
