2022-09-20 — The air is cooling off, the kids are back to school, and Halloween is right around the corner-fall must be here! The smell of pumpkin spice lattes, watching leaves turn beautiful warm colours, and feeling comfy in sweaters and boots, there are so many picturesque settings! The District of Clearwater is looking to expand its photo collection and who better to showcase our community than the people who live in it?
Photos of the kids or pets playing in the leaves, one last paddle around Dutch Lake – the possibilities are endless! We’re looking for anything symbolic of Clearwater, Wells Gray and everything in between. Snap your photos and send them to edo@docbc.ca. All photos submitted from Sept. 26 to Nov. 30 will be entered to win one of 10 prize packs.
Signed permission from the photographer is required as any of the submitted photos will be saved into a photo bank for District use on the website and social media, as well as in deliverables, such as the annual report and internal marketing pieces. If there are any identifiable people in the frame, permission must be obtained from them as the photo may be re-used numerous times. Please add a short description of the area and activity in the image, and the name of the photographer so the District may provide credit.
