2202-10-28 — The District of Clearwater is very pleased to announce the appointment of Liane Culp as its new Recreation, Culture, and Events Coordinator. Liane’s appointment will be effective as of November 11, 2022.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Liane spent much of her childhood doing recreational activities outdoors in the forests, mountains, and on the Ocean. She also spent her summers throughout her childhood and youth in Clearwater visiting her grandparents who were active and established in the community. Liane can be found spending most of her time focused on the pursuit of growth and development, spending time with her active and energetic partner and three children, volunteering with multiple community organizations, working towards her degree in Counselling, and cooking healthy and delicious meals. She is also an avid trail runner, mental & physical health advocate, dog mom, painter, Crisis Responder, kayaker, outdoor/environmental enthusiast, just to name a few.
Liane values community development, involvement, and growth through connection and experience. She is passionate about inspiring individuals to transform how they participate in their lives so that they can create more awareness and connect with purpose.
She has always had a connection with people and a strong desire to serve humanity through community and connection. Liane is honest, compassionate, empathetic, driven, curious, and is always striving to expand her knowledge.”
