The District of Clearwater will be hosting an open house to provide the public an opportunity to ask questions about a project to improve the Park Drive and Clearwater Village Road to Raft River Elementary intersection.
The Open House for the Park Drive and Clearwater Village Road to Raft River Elementary Intersection will be held on Friday, Sept. 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the council chambers at the Dutch Lake Community Centre.
A design has been completed by TRUE Consulting and is available to the public for review. The changes proposed to the intersection at the bottom of the hill at Park Drive and Clearwater Village Road will increase the safety and usability of the area. Many residents use this intersection everyday, to go to work, visit the hospital, drive to the shopping centre and bike to school. It is imperative the District receives feedback from the public and that the public has an opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with the design.
Copies of the proposed design will be available for those who attend and District staff will be on hand to answer any questions and make note of any concerns the public may have.
Feedback from the public is encouraged, so long as it is delivered in a respectful manner. The District will not tolerate any verbal abuse towards its staff or other members of the public.
