Fire Department Update
- Call volume has been quiet overall, with only a few medical calls and a few alarm responses.
- December 7 Events:
- Participated in the annual Breakfast with Santa alongside neighboring fire departments.

- Delivered Santa to the Rotary Christmas Tree Light-Up at the Wells Gray Info Centre as part of our yearly tradition.
- Training Building Improvements:
- Borrow Enterprise began work on our training building at the end of November.
- Their contributions are greatly appreciated and provide significant value to our training practices.
Public Works Update
- Winter Road Maintenance
- Borrow Enterprises Ltd. is fully mobilized for winter road maintenance, including weather monitoring, roadway inspections, and snow plowing/sanding on priority routes.

- Trails, Walkways & Facilities
- Public Works crews are maintaining multi-use trails, pedestrian corridors, commercial walkways, and municipal facilities using plow trucks, ToolCats with salt hoppers, snow blowers, and hand shoveling as needed.

- Fire Hydrants
- Snow is cleared from fire hydrants to ensure emergency access. Residents’ help keeping nearby hydrants clear is appreciated.
- Dutch Lake Corridor – Signage Updates
- New signage will be installed this spring as part of the Dutch Lake Corridor improvements, ahead of traffic-calming delineators planned for early summer to improve pedestrian and vehicle safety.
