Parks & Maintenance
Dutch Lake Improvements
We’re excited to share several recent improvements at Dutch Lake Beach aimed at enhancing safety, accessibility, and the overall visitor experience.
In partnership with the Rotary Club, we have launched a Life Jacket Loaner Program. A variety of CSA-certified life jackets are now available for children to use while enjoying the beach. We kindly ask that all life jackets be returned to the designated hooks after use so they remain available for everyone.
For added safety, a swimming perimeter rope has been installed to clearly mark where the drop-off begins.
Visitors will also notice new signage throughout the area, improved pathways to the water, and a beautiful rock-lined staircase connecting the parking lot to the playground. In addition, the washroom facilities have been refreshed with a new coat of paint.
We hope these enhancements help make Dutch Lake an even safer and more enjoyable destination for residents and visitors.
